5th Grade: English. UNIT 2

En esta unidad vamos a aprender a usar GOING TO para hablar de planes para el futuro.
También revisaremos el vocabulario de las profesiones
Para nuestro Portfolio haremos dos ejercicios de expresión escrita:
1.- Escribir sobre los planes para el fin de semana
MY WEEKEND PLANS
2.- Escribir sobre la profesión de algún familiar
AN INTERESTING JOB
3.- Escribir una postal para nuestros compañeros Erasmus franceses

GOING TO

GOING TO: es una estructura que se usa para hablar de planes en el futuro. Se formaría con los siguientes elementos:
Recuerda empezamos siempre con el .............. SUJETO. Muy bien.
Seguido iría el verbo TO BE (concordando con el sujeto:
I am, You are, He is, we are, you are, they are)
Después GOING TO
Y por último el verbo.

EJEMPLO:
I am going to study English.
Nayla is going to be a vet

6TH GRADE: PROJECT 2 TOPIC 1: AN EMAIL

El segundo proyecto que tienen que realizar consiste en escribir un email hablando de planes en el futuro, para ello tendrán que utilizar la expresión: I AM GOING TO,...

- El email lo empezamos con : DEAR...........,
- A continuación se pregunta como está: HOW ARE YOU?
- y le respondemos: I AM FINE BUT VERY BUSY BECAUSE NEXT WEEK I AM GOING TO DO A LOT OF THINGS;......
- A continuación le deciemos que vamos a hacer cada día, siempre hablando de planes de futuro imaginarios, irreales: ON MONDAY I AM GOING TO MEET A DRAGON AND WE ARE GOING TO FLY TOGETHER. ON TUESDAY I AM GOING TO EAT WITH A MERMAID IN A MAGICAL ISLAND,....
- Para finalizar el email me depido diciendo: SEE YOU SOON/ I AM LOOKING FORDWARD HEARING FROM YOU ( estoy deseando que me respondas),...

6TH GRADE: PROJECT 1: MY MYTHICAL BEAST

Uno de los proyectos finales del tema 1 de inglés consiste en describir a una bestia mitológica imaginaria. Para ello primero tendrán que dibujarla y posteriormente describirla. Deben de usar las siguientes estructuras:

- My mythical beast's name is _________________________
- It is....
- It has got......... but it hasn't got....
- It has got elephant's ears and a giraffe's neck.
- It can.... but it can't....
- It lives in ....
- It  eats....
- it likes....

En el examen del tema 1 los alumnos también tendrán que describir a su animal favorito y para ello tendrán que usar las siguientes estructuras y vocabulario:

5TH GRADE PROJECTs TOPIC 1:BOOK REVIEW/ PROGRAME REVIEW / MY FAVOURITE SCHOOL DAY

El proyecto final del tema 1 consiste en escribir un reseña sobre un libro o sobre un programa de televión, para ello tendrán que seguir los siguientes pasos:

BOOK REVIEW/ TV PROGRAME REVIEW: 

1.- Book Title: Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone
2.- Name of the author: J.K. Rowling
3.- Where/ When the story takes place:  The story takes place in U.K., in Hogwarts, a magical school.
4.- Who the main characters are: The main characters are Harry Potter and his friends Ron and Hermione. There are also more characters:his teachers and his family.
5.- What the story is about?: It is a boy who is sent to a magic school in the U.K. There he lives a lot of adventures and he meets new friends.
6.- What I like about the book: I love Harry Potter's adventures because I like reading fantastic books about non real characters. 

MY FAVOURITE SCHOOL DAY

Además tendrán que saber escribir sobre sobre su día favorito del horario:

My favourite day is Friday. I like it because at nine o'clock I have science, then Spanish Language and at eleven o'clock I have English. From twelve to half past twelve I have a break and after that I have P.E. and Music at  quarter past one.
I love Fridays because I have my favorite subjects! I love P.E. and music and I also like languages.

5th grade: Social Sciences: Unit 2: La representación de la Tierra

TEMA 2 del libro de Vicens Vives y apuntes de clase

2.1. Globos terráqueos Identificación de los polos, el eje y los hemisferios.

2.2. Cartografía. Planos y mapas.

2.3. Puntos de la Tierra: los paralelos y meridianos.

2.4. Coordenadas geográficas: Latitud y longitud.

2.5. El Planisferio: físico y político.

Este tema se trabajará hasta el 31 de octubre

En esta unidad nos vamos a convertir en geógrafos.
