RETELLING A STORY

A long time ago there were a king and queen who were unhappy because they were childless.

Once upon a time... there lived an unhappy young girl. Unhappy she was, for her mother was dead, her father had married another woman, a widow with two daughters, and her stepmother didn't like her one little bit.

Once upon a time down on an old farm, lived a duck family, and Mother Duck had been sitting on a clutch of new eggs

On one fine summer's day in a field a Grasshopper was hopping about in a musical mood. An ant passed by bearing along with great toil an ear of corn he was taking to the nest.

5TH GRADE PROJECTS TOPIC 3:

The first picture is of a town. I can see many buildings: There is a cinema, next to the cinema there is a bus station and a park. There is a supermarket between the car park and the police station,...

I live in Zafra,  a town in the southwest of Spain, Badajoz. I live in 17, Estación avenue. In my street there are many shops: there are three clothes shops, one big supermarket, four pubs, a restaurant and a café. From my window I can see the park that is opposite my house, the road, the shops, the restaurant and many people walking and a lot of cars.
Zafra is a beautiful city. There are many restaurants and shops,....there is a hospital and.....but there aren't any............ and there isn't any.....
I like my city because......

6TH GRADE SOCIAL SCIENCES: GOYA PROJECT

9TH JANUARY: project about his life from his paintings.

1-. Individually or in pairs: use the Internet  to complete these sentences  about Goya's life:

2.- Find some information and some pictures about his paintings(you can see the names of his paintings on page 17 on your sciences books)

3.- Put the paintings in order and write sentences about each one:

- It belongs to the first/ second,...period of his works.

- It uses light/dark/ many/ a few...colours

4.- Make a poster with all this information and pictures or a presentation using the new technologies.

We have divided our class in 4 groups.
Each group must prepare a presentation using the digital competence.

We are doing Unit 4, Modern Spain: The 20th Century

• Each group must prepare a powerpoint presentation and a worksheet with questions for the rest of the class to complete
• Each presentation must have a minimum of 3 slides
• Each slide must have a minimum of 1 picture
• Use the internet and/or reference books to answer your question
• Make a slideshow presentation to show to the class
